# ScanHood > On-chain safety, market data, and launch tooling for Robinhood Chain (EVM chain ID 4663). Every check runs live on-chain — no third-party security API covers this chain, so ScanHood built its own honeypot/rug detector from scratch. Free, no API key required for read endpoints. Open source. ScanHood exists to answer one question before you (or your agent) touches a token on Robinhood Chain: is this safe to interact with? It also runs a locked-liquidity launchpad (tokens and NFTs) where liquidity can structurally never be pulled, and a screener/market-data layer for anything trading on the chain. ## Quick start for agents The fastest path is MCP: point any MCP-compatible client (Claude, etc.) at `https://scanhood.xyz/mcp` (Streamable HTTP transport, no auth) and you get `scan_token`, `search_token`, `get_ohlcv`, `get_swap_quote`, `get_bridge_quote`, `build_launch_tx`, and `get_stockback_vault` as native tools, 21 in total. No client registration needed. If you're calling the REST API directly instead of via MCP, every endpoint below returns JSON and needs no API key for reads. ## Core API - [GET /api/scan?token={address}](https://scanhood.xyz/api/scan?token=0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870): Composite on-chain safety verdict for any Robinhood-Chain token — honeypot buy+sell simulation (real on-chain callStatic, not a heuristic guess), LP-lock status, contract verification, deployer reputation, RWA-impostor detection. Returns `verdict` (PASS/CAUTION/DANGER), `sellable`, `lp.status`, `flags[]`. This is the endpoint to call before any agent-initiated trade on this chain. - [GET /api/search?q={query}](https://scanhood.xyz/api/search?q=robinhood): Find any Robinhood-Chain token by symbol, name, or address — not limited to a curated list. - [GET /api/quote?token={address}&side={buy|sell}&amount={amount}](https://scanhood.xyz/api/quote?token=0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870&side=buy&amount=0.01): Best-route swap quote (V2/V3) for a token against WETH. - [GET /api/bridge-quote?fromChain={id}&toChain={id}&amount={amount}](https://scanhood.xyz/api/bridge-quote?fromChain=4663&toChain=8453&amount=0.01): Cross-chain quote (via relay.link, no ScanHood fee) for bridging native ETH/BNB between Robinhood Chain (4663), Ethereum (1), Base (8453), Arbitrum (42161), and BNB Chain (56). Returns the unsigned deposit tx for the caller's own wallet to sign on `fromChain`. - [GET /api/ohlcv?pool={address}&tf={timeframe}](https://scanhood.xyz/api/ohlcv?pool=0x0Bd7D308f8E1639FAb988df18A8011f41EAcAD73&tf=1h): OHLCV candles for a pool address. `tf` accepts standard timeframe strings (e.g. `1h`, `1d`). - [POST /api/launch](https://scanhood.xyz/api/launch): Builds an **unsigned** transaction to launch a new no-rug token, on either launchpad version. Body: `{name, symbol, version, logo, description, socials, feeWallet, initialBuyEth, initialTick, from}`. `version` is `"v3"` (default — anti-snipe protection, supports an atomic `initialBuyEth`) or `"v4"` (Uniswap V4, no anti-snipe window, no atomic initial buy, optional `initialTick` default -204200). The server never holds a key — it returns calldata + value for the agent's own wallet to sign and send. Pass `from` to get a predicted token address back (CREATE2, verified exact-match against real on-chain deploys for both versions). ## Other products on the same domain - [/dex](https://scanhood.xyz/dex): Live screener — trending/new/top pairs, alpha signals, smart-money tracking. - [/launch](https://scanhood.xyz/launch): Locked-liquidity launchpad hub — launch a coin (Uniswap V3 or V4) or a fixed-supply NFT collection. Liquidity is structurally locked; no withdraw path exists in the contracts. - [/scanner](https://scanhood.xyz/scanner): Human-facing version of the /api/scan safety check. - [/stocks](https://scanhood.xyz/stocks): Verification layer for Robinhood's official tokenized-stock issuances (distinguishes real issuer tokens from name-copying impostors). - [/stockback](https://scanhood.xyz/stockback): Pays a share of real ScanHood trading-fee revenue as real tokenized stock, not points — no separate action required, it rides on trading a user was already doing. Funding is hard-capped to real, already-collected fee revenue (never promised ahead of it); claiming is wallet-signature verified, non-custodial after withdrawal. `GET /api/stockback/deck` and `GET /api/stockback/vault?wallet={address}` are read-only, no key required — see [/stockback/whitepaper](https://scanhood.xyz/stockback/whitepaper/) for the full mechanism, formulas, and honestly-stated open gaps. ## Source The API, honeypot scanner, and MCP server are open source: [github.com/scanhood/scanhood](https://github.com/scanhood/scanhood) — published specifically so the detection logic can be read and audited, not trusted as a black box. ## Notes for agents - Rate limits apply to public read endpoints; no key is required but be a reasonable citizen. - /api/scan pricing: 500 free scans per IP per UTC day, then $0.002 per scan, paid in USDC on Base (standard x402, auto-pay), USDC on Base or USDG on Robinhood Chain (prepaid), or native ETH on Robinhood Chain (chain 4663) to 0x6118D7E24Ee0F31d2d3400269944DF8b40EC36A2. Over quota you get HTTP 402 with the exact wei price and retry recipe: send ETH, sign "ScanHood credits: " with the paying wallet, retry with header X-Payment: base64(JSON {txid, signature}). The response returns an API key (X-ScanHood-Key); send it as ?key= or X-API-Key, 1 credit per scan. Live pricing: GET /api/pricing. Details: https://scanhood.xyz/docs/#pricing - `sellable: true` on /api/scan means the honeypot simulation passed *right now* — it is not a guarantee of future safety or a buy signal. - This chain (Robinhood Chain, ID 4663) has no other independent security API coverage — ScanHood's on-chain simulation is the only real-time check available, not a cached third-party feed.
